Ordering and using QRThali
QRThali is run by . These terms apply when you order at a restaurant through QRThali, and when a restaurant uses QRThali. Last updated .
Who sells you the food
The restaurant whose menu you open sells you the food and is responsible for it: quality, hygiene, allergens, prices and taxes. Its name, address, FSSAI licence number and, if it is registered, its GSTIN are shown at the foot of its menu. QRThali provides the software.
Prices and the bill
- Menu prices are final and include any tax. A restaurant under the GST composition scheme pays its GST itself and gives a bill of supply; a regular GST restaurant shows the GST included in the bill. Nothing is added at the end that was not shown before you placed the order.
- Discounts (offers, lucky wheel, rewards) are shown line by line on your order before you place it, and the same amounts appear on the restaurant's screen.
- The restaurant may correct a price that is plainly wrong; it will tell you before you pay.
Orders and payment
- Placing an order sends it to the restaurant. It is confirmed only when the restaurant accepts it; it may reject it, for example when a dish has run out. A rejected order costs nothing.
- You pay after the restaurant accepts, by UPI from your bill or at the counter. If you are not at the restaurant yet and have not ordered there before, the restaurant may ask you to pay first.
- Tapping "I have paid" tells the cashier to check; the bill is paid once the restaurant confirms the money arrived.
- You can cancel an order while the restaurant has not accepted it.
The lucky wheel
- The wheel is free. It gives money off an order placed in the app at that restaurant, never cash, and cannot be transferred.
- You get up to 3 tries per order. After each try you accept the prize or try again; a new try replaces the earlier prize, which cannot be brought back.
- The amounts on the wheel are shown before you spin. Smaller amounts come up more often. A jackpot is won only when one is available.
- A prize stays with you until you use it on an order big enough to take all of it. If the restaurant rejects that order, the prize comes back to you.
- The wheel is for people aged 18 or over who are signed in. The restaurant may change or stop it; prizes already won stay valid.
Ratings, photos and comments
Be fair and lawful. Do not post anything abusive, false, obscene, or anyone's personal details. The restaurant can remove comments, and you can ask us to remove anything unlawful through the grievance contact below; we act within the times the law sets.
For restaurants
- You are responsible for your menu, prices, taxes, FSSAI licence and GST registration, and for showing them correctly.
- You control who on your team sees what. You use your staff's data only for their employment and keep it as the law requires.
- Do not store full Aadhaar numbers or unmasked Aadhaar copies; QRThali keeps only the last 4 digits.
Liability and law
QRThali is provided as it is and as available; we work to keep it running but cannot promise it never stops. Nothing here takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. These terms are governed by Indian law; courts at the restaurant's city have jurisdiction.
